He shared, “I am so lucky to have had such wonderful material to work with over the years which has created my career. I am also grateful for having such a special, wonderful family.” His big birthday comes just weeks after he reunited with his TV family members from Boy Meets World for ’90s Con. He received a standing ovation from fans when he came out for the panel.

Just last year, he was able to celebrate his 96th birthday with some of his former co-stars including Will Friedle, Danielle Fishel, and Rider Strong. They appeared at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo 2023 and the stars said that he still has lots of words of wisdom to share, just like his character on the show. Friedle revealed that he “still shoots out the pearls of wisdom. His wife, Bonnie, as well. Talking to them is still magical,” while Fishel added, “If you’re willing to listen, Bill is dropping gems left and right.”

These days, Daniels and Bartlett Daniels enjoy going to conventions to pay tribute to roles from their past but they mainly enjoy being at home and spending time with their three sons and many grandchildren. Bartlett Daniels said, “We sit in this house and we do things. He reads his New York Times, and he does Cameos mostly. And we do conventions and things like that. We just like to be with each other. And we would do anything for each other.”
