‘Boy Meets World’ Cast Reunites for Williams Daniels’ 96th Birthday (FEEEENNYYYY!)
Boy Meets World stars still have a soft spot for Mr. Feeny. Several of the cast members joined William Daniels (Mr. George Feeny) and his wife Bonnie Bartlett Daniels (Lila Bolander) to celebrate a very special milestone … his 96th birthday. They shared photos of the dinner in Chicago, just ahead of their appearance at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo 2023 on the Instagram page for the podcast Pod Meets World, hosted by stars Danielle Fishel (Topanga Lawrence), Rider Strong (Shawn Hunter), and Will Friedle (Eric Matthews). They were joined by Trina McGee-Davis (Angela Moore) and Anthony Tyler Quinn (Jonathan Turner) to honor their former costar.
In a recent podcast episode, Fishel, Friedle, and Strong revealed that they still go to Daniels for advice, much like they did as teens on the show. Ahead of his birthday, Friedle said, “Ninety-five years old and he still shoots out the pearls of wisdom. His wife, Bonnie, as well. Talking to them is still magical.”
Fishel added, “If you’re willing to listen, Bill is dropping gems left and right.” Although both Daniels and his wife are well into their 90s they are still keeping pretty busy. They are set to appear in a new film version of William Shakespeare’s Richard III. Bartlett Daniels is also releasing a memoir.

Fans noted that Ben Savage (Cory Matthews) was not in attendance and never seems to appear for reunions. However, he is currently running for a seat in Congress and focusing on politics. Even though the star of Boy Meets World isn’t often seen at reunions, it doesn’t stop the rest of the cast from coming back together. They are set to reunite once again in September at the Tampa Bay Comic Con for the 30th anniversary of the start of the iconic sitcom.
Boy Meets World ran from 1993 to 2000 and followed the lives of young teens as they tried to navigate the world, with the help of parents and teachers. The popular series spawned a short-lived sequel called Girl Meets World, which followed the life of Cory and Topanga’s pre-teen daughter, Riley.
Happy birthday, William!
