Feeny has still got it. William Daniels, who played Mr. Feeny on Boy Meets World, received a standing ovation when he appeared during the panel. Daniels is now 97 years old and came to the convention alongside his wife, Bonnie Bartlett Daniels, who also acted in the series. Co-star Will Friedle admitted during the panel that he was inspired by Daniels in real life. He shared, “Every other job I went to, I was one of the most professional people on the set because of Bill Daniels. If you got him to laugh, it was like getting through the final level of a video game.” Sounds like he was Mr. Feeny in real life.

Some of the cast members also made a very exciting announcement! Friedle, Danielle Fishel, and Rider Strong host the Pod Meets World podcast about their experiences on the show and mentioned that they want to do a documentary. Unfortunately, they don’t have a lot of behind-the-scenes footage for a potential documentary but Fishel said, “We have some, but not a lot. And [Rider] said, ‘I think there’s going to be a time whether it’s in five years, 10 years or another 30 years where we’re going to look back on the experience that we’re all having now and wish we could relive it and experience it again.’ So, we have a little film crew who has been interviewing fans at our live shows who’s here with us this weekend. And, you know, went to dinner with all of us last night. Even if we never air it anywhere, it’s just for us. But yeah, we’re really excited about it.”

‘Step by Step’ cast honors the late Suzanne Somers just months after her death

Step by Step stars are mourning the loss of their co-star. Patrick Duffy, Staci Keanan, Angela Watson, Christine Lakin, Christopher Castile, Jason Marsden, and Sasha Mitchel were all in attendance at ’90s Con and made sure to honor Suzanne Somers, who passed away after a battle with cancer just five months ago. Keanan shared, “Suzanne gave the most beautiful, thoughtful gifts and she was a person of immense style and glamour in her real life, and I will never forget [that] and I still have them. One Christmas, she gave me a pair of Prada, cashmere tights. Okay, so it’s Prada. You know, fancy and everything. But beyond that, she was like, ‘These will keep you warm. And even if you have a long skirt, you could just wear these underneath to keep you warm.’ [It was] so sweet. She will be missed.”

Lakin added about Somers, “I think watching her as a young person, [I] would see her on television. I watched a lot of reruns growing up, so I knew ‘Three’s Company.’ I didn’t know ‘Dallas,’ sorry. Growing up with her and watching her as a woman, as a businesswoman, as someone who was a huge star who had a bright light, who was so gorgeous, who was also so down to Earth and someone I just really admired. She was someone that made me think as a young female in Hollywood, you can be kind and you can be generous and you can be successful and all of those things don’t have to be mutually exclusive.”

Actor Andrew Keegan appeared at ’90s Con and made an unexpected visit during the Full House panel. He made a guest appearance on the show as Ryan, a boy who stood up Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin). He joked, while down on his knees in front of Sweetin, “One of you have mentioned the ‘Full House’ episode where I stood you up on. So, I came to apologize.” He added that he was walking by and just wanted to say hi to fans and the cast! He was there as part of the 10 Things I Hate About You cast but he also made a guest appearance in an episode of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch in the ’90s.

During the panel, the stars made sure to pay tribute to Bob Saget, who played Danny Tanner on the show and passed away in 2022. Sweetin admitted that her sense of humor was deeply impacted by being around the adults on the show, particularly Saget, Dave Coulier, and John Stamos. She revealed, “On ‘Fuller [House],’ I was the one that you can see constantly saying things very much like Bob. I definitely got a sense of humor like you guys. I’ll never forget when I out-Bobbed Bob. At our ‘Fuller House’ wrap party, I said a joke. I don’t know what it was — I probably blocked it out of my memory — but he was like, ‘Wow. That’s dark,’ for a while. For Bob to go, “Wow,” I was like, ‘Did I do it? Did I out-Bob Bob?!’ And he was like, ‘Yeah, that was pretty dark.’ I was like, ‘You’re welcome.'”

Melissa Joan Hart, Jenna Leigh Green, Alimi Ballard, Beth Broderick, and Nate Richert reunited and revealed that they still text and even admitted that “it gets spicy” in the group chat. During the panel, they also opened up about a big reunion they had in 2020 before the pandemic started. Over 100 members of the cast and crew flew to Los Angeles to reminisce about working on the beloved show.

While Jessica Biel has gone on to achieve higher stardom than most of her 7th Heaven cast members, the love is certainly still there! She did not appear in person at ’90s Con but FaceTimed with the cast. Beverley Mitchell, Barry Watson, David Gallagher, Mackenzie Rosman, and Catherine Hicks came together and enjoyed a night out together in town before appearing at the event.

‘Dawson’s Creek’ stars open up about the trouble they got into

James Van Der Beek and Kerr Smith joked about the time they got into a little trouble while filming the teen drama. They said they both had jet skis and would go out on the water on breaks. However, Smith shared, “sometimes you hit the back jet on the ground and you break the prop,” which apparently got them the “tow of shame” to the local bar.
