Legendary Star Trek actor Walter Koenig, who passed away on October 25 at the age of 90, will be celebrated Sunday, November 1, on Heroes & Icons (H&I) with a five-episode Star Trek: The Original Series tribute starting at 8 pm ET/PT.

Koenig, one of Star Trek‘s original series cast members, starred as Ensign Pavel Chekov. He was beloved by fans and brought a fresh dynamic to the cast when his character debuted during the show’s second season in September 1967.

The Chicago-born Koenig also brought back Ensign Chekhov and his over-the-top Russian accent for the first seven Star Trek feature films and voiced him in a number of Trek-inspired video games.

Tune in Sunday night for some of his best episodes.
