Iconic singer Dionne Warwick is reportedly recovering after a small medical issue. She never explained what the medical issue was that forced her to cancel a show in Chicago. Even so, the 82-year-old’s rep confirmed that she is now doing well and that her show will be rescheduled. The “I Saw a Little Prayer” singer has a few other shows scheduled this summer in Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, Kentucky, California, and others.

While Warwick is now “on the mend,” no word on if her tour will remain as scheduled. Despite a small break in her schedule to deal with her health, Warwick has not been showing signs of slowing down. This year, she released a new song with Dolly Parton and it was the first time the two legends have worked together.

She opened up about working with Parton and shared, “To put it in one word, fun. Well, that’s what she is. She is just a bundle of joy and laughter and, just being who she is, which is so refreshing. I can’t tell you, just really refreshing.” Warwick also called the “Jolene” singer one of her musical inspirations and added, “You don’t have to guess who or what Dolly Parton is. She is Dolly Parton, period.”

The song is called “Peace Like a River” and Parton echoed Warwick’s sentiments. She said, “I was honored to get to sing with one of my idols, Dionne Warwick. I have loved her for years and getting to sing with her was one of the highlights of my career. I loved that she loved my song, and I loved singing it with her.” Wishing Warwick a quick recovery and if you’re interested in her remaining tour dates, click here to view hers and other nostalgic tours coming this year!
