A new era begins for viewers of NBA hoops. The league made a monster 11-year, $76 billion media rights deal that puts national TV and streaming games on every night of the week.

NBC, which aired NBA games from 1990-2002, is back in (and so is its “Roundball Rock” theme song, composed by the incomparable John Tesh). TNT, which has broadcast games since 1988, is out. Here’s a rundown of the new TV landscape:

ABC/ESPN

Wednesday night doubleheaders air on ESPN all season long, and ESPN airs a first ever Thanksgiving Eve tripleheader November 26. Christmas Day games remain on ABC/ESPN, and ESPN adds Friday night games to its schedule beginning Jan. 16. Saturday night games return to ABC on January 24, and Sunday matinee matchups on ABC/ESPN start February 1. Playoff games continue to air on ABC/ESPN, and ABC keeps exclusive coverage of the NBA Finals.

NBC

In addition to the season tipoff, NBC airs Coast 2 Coast Tuesday games in primetime generally featuring one game airing in the Eastern/Central time zones and a different game appearing in the Mountain/Pacific time zones. NBC adds Sunday primetime games beginning February 1, and picks up coverage of NBA All-Star Weekend February 13-15 and select playoff games starting in April.
