TCM’s ‘Summer Under the Stars’ Returns August 2026 — Get the Full Schedule
August brings TCM’s annual “Summer Under the Stars” event, where every day is dedicated to a different Hollywood legend. It’s like 31 mini-movie festivals, each starting at dawn and taking you well into the late night.
This year’s lineup brings us five first-timers, including the beloved Diane Keaton, who passed away unexpectedly last year; the 86-year-old (he turns 87 on August 12) bronzed George Hamilton, who’s best known for films like Love at First Bite and Zorro, The Gay Blade; Marie Windsor, queen of B-movies and film noir in the 1940s-60s; Bonita Granville, who played Nancy Drew in multiple films in the late 1930s; and Brock Peters, who’s best remembered for playing Crown in 1959’s Porgy and Bess and Tom Robinson in 1962’s To Kill a Mockingbird.
