How Well Do You Know These Classic 1960s Sci-Fi TV Shows?
Star Trek is one of the longest-running sci-fi series, lasting barely three TV seasons on its first run, starting in 1968, never finding solid success with ratings. And yet, Star Trek went on to sire numerous spinoff TV series, 13 films, and innumerable books, magazines, comic books, board and computer games, conventions, and theme park attractions. The voyages of the Starship Enterprise seem almost eternal in this aging boomer age.
There were other beloved sci-fi ’60s TV shows too — diving deep in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, shrinking down in the Land of the Giants, getting Lost in Space, visiting other dimensions in The Twilight Zone, and touring the history books in The Time Tunnel. There were great sci-fi-themed Saturday morning cartoons, too — The Jetsons, Jonny Quest, Dodo and Space Ghost to name a few.
How well do you remember all the great sci-fi TV shows of the ’60s? Take our quiz and find out!
