Mighty Morphin Power Rangers star Walter E. Jones — who played the original Black Ranger, Zack Taylor — is 59, and fans are in disbelief over his ageless appearance in a recent interview.

In a January 20 episode of the Taboo’s Comics & Kicks podcast, hosted by Taboo Nawasha of the Black Eyed Peas, Jones was the featured guest. The two men discussed a wide range of topics, but at one point, Nawasha brought up the actor’s age.

“I was looking up something right now, and I just saw that you’re f***ing 55,” Nawasha pointed out. “How are you 55 and 20 at the same time?”

To that, Jones clarified, “I’m actually 59. When I was on Power Rangers, I was 26 playing 16.”

He then joked, “I’m trying to grow a little gray hair, so I can get a little respect,” adding, “It’s weird to look so young. But I feel blessed… People call me a vampire, but I’m just happy.”

Jones also shared his secret to retaining his youthful looks, telling Nawasha, “People ask me, ‘How do you look so young?’ I say, ‘It’s coca butter and positivity.’ But actually, I think it’s dancing, really. Because I continue to dance. So after I did Power Rangers — after I did all the martial arts and so forth, so on — I got into salsa. So I became a world champion salsa dancer.”

Additionally, Jones said he would love to compete on Dancing With the Stars.

In the comments of a clip shared via Instagram of Jones discussing his age, fans were utterly flabbergasted. One person declared, “59 is BANANAS! 😮😱.”

Another fan exclaimed, “No way!! True fountain of youth! He still looks the same.”

Someone else echoed, “Dude’s a vampire 😂,” as a second joked, “Hmmm. How do you feel about garlic? 🤔🤔😂😂.”

A different Instagram user pointed out, “Wild. He even sounds young.”

Meanwhile, yet another fan commented, “That’s insane how young he looks 😭🔥🔥.”

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers aired for three seasons from 1993 to 1995.
