It is hard to believe that it has been 100 years since the opening of the Grand Ole Opry, the show that has launched the careers of the most iconic country music stars. In honor of this momentous occasion, NBC is airing Opry 100: A Live Celebration on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 8pm ET. It will be available to stream on Peacock as well.

Grand Ole Opry member and country music artist Blake Shelton will host the event live from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. Shelton shared, “Becoming a member of the Opry is a highlight of my life and career, and 15 years later I still get that same feeling of reverence and excitement every time I walk out on that stage. The Grand Ole Opry has been connecting the country music family for 100 years, and I’m so proud to be part of this historic celebration.”
