Danny Bonaduce Recreates Cute Childhood Photo With His Siblings
Partridge Family star Danny Bonaduce is feeling nostalgic in the New Year — so much so that he recently shared two photos of himself with his siblings. The first was a throwback photo of the Bonaduce siblings as children back in 1960 — Danny would have been around one year old. The second photo shows Danny and his siblings again, this time in 2025, in the same order, recreating the adorable original photo.
Danny was born to TV writer and producer Joseph Bonaduce and Betty Bonaduce in 1959; his father’s job explains Danny’s involvement in TV as a young child. The Bonaduces divorced in 1972. Danny has opened up about the severe physical and emotional abuse his father inflicted on him, noting that is likely what led to his parents’ divorce.

Danny has two brothers and a sister. Not much is known about his siblings, but his sister Celia Bonaduce and brother Arthur Bonaduce have worked in television as well. They wrote an episode of Good Times called “Blood Will Tell” together, as well as several episodes of The Jeffersons.
In addition to her work in television, Celia has written several novels, including The Merchant of Venice Beach, A Venice Beach Romance and Fat Chance, Texas, among others. She also opened up to the public in 2022 about her brother Danny’s mystery illness.”We are not being coy when we say this is a ‘mystery illness’… in layman’s terms, his balance sucks — super sucks — and all the great medical minds of Seattle are at work trying to solve this conundrum,” she said at the time. “We will keep you posted.”
Danny ended up having surgery in 2023 after being diagnosed with a neurological disorder called hydrocephalus, which made it difficult for him to walk. He then retired from his longtime radio show in 2024 and moved to Palm Springs, California. Now it seems he is doing better, and enjoyed a nice get-together with his family for the holidays.
