The 55th Annual San Diego Comic-Con, which took place this past July, didn’t just yield its customary film and TV celebrations —this year, it also brought a tidal wave of toy announcements. Check out the gallery below to preview new Peanuts,Three’s Company, The Golden Girls, The Six Million Dollar Man, Strawberry Shortcake, E.T., Batman, James Bond, Elvira, Carman Sandiego, Tron, and Ghostbusters toys that can be yours this year, plus special anniversary toys celebrating 40 years of Back to the Future and 50 years of Jaws.
'The Golden Girls' 40th Anniversary Doll Set
Toynk Toys released an exclusive four-doll set during the convention. The 3¾” figurine box set includes Dorthy, Blanche, Rose, and Sophia, all dressed in nostalgic outfits. The set came in a pink collectible box and sold for $50. Now, it’s selling on eBay for nearly $100! Thank you for being a friend.
E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial from Elite Creature Collectibles
The 1/3 scale statue of our favorite alien stands approximately 23.3 inches tall and 14.6 inches wide. E.T. is cast in high-quality translucent resin for a lifelike skin effect, with glass eyes that add realism. His LED finger and heartbeat light up, and he sits on a themed display base. ThunderCats Talking Snarf Prototype
Factory Entertainment showed off their new ThunderCats Snarf Talking Plush – but what was shown was a prototype and not the final product. It’s totally cute.
Batarang prototype
Factory also showed off their Batarang stunt replica from the TV series Batman. Once again, what was shown was not the final product but just a prototype.
Battlestar Galactica
Also upcoming from Factory: Battlestar Galactica “Cylon Sword” & “Colonial Viper” puls a set of 3.75″ action figures. This too was a prototype but super cool.

Peanuts' 75th Anniversary: Sno-Cone Machine
There were many Peanuts items launched during SDCC to continue the celebration of the Peanuts gang’s 75th anniversary!
Cra-Z-Art has released the retro Snoopy SNO-Cone Machine Snow Cone Shaved Ice Maker Ice Shaver, showcasing Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Snoopy. It comes with Fruit Punch Flavor Packets. A refresher for those summer days! $22.99, available here.
Hallmark has also created that snowy Snoopy SNO-Cone Machine in a smaller size just right for you Christmas Tree! What more do you need on your tree but a bit of snow! The nostalgic design resembles the original Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine — complete with “ice pusher” Snoopy perched atop his doghouse. A red snow shovel was used to scoop up the shaved ice and a snowman-shaped bottle held the yummy, sweet syrup. $30
Peanuts' 75th Anniversary Hot Wheels
Celebrate the timeless charm of the Peanuts gang with these Hot Wheels Themed cars. This delightful collection combines iconic Peanuts characters with some of the coolest Hot Wheels cars, making it a must-have for collectors and fans alike.

JAWS 50th Anniversary Hot Wheels
Mattel’s Hot Wheels had quite a few new items on display, including this 50th anniversary Jaws set — a die-cast version of Orca, complete with a mini-figure on the shark attack! This set has a dramatic diorama featuring the boat and shark encased in molded plastic waves. What better way of celebrating this amazing classic film without anyone getting bit by JAWS!!

Back to the Future 40th Anniversary Hot Wheels
Hot Wheels also has a 40th anniversary Back to the Future Time Machine inclduing Doc’s GMC Value van with the DeLorean.
Includes the first-ever 1:64 scale version of Dr. Emmet “Doc” Brown’s GMC Value Van from the first Back to the Future movie, with authentic graphics. Both of these are sold out on Hot Wheel’s website, but other SDCC items are still available.
Three's Company Set
Syndicated Collectibles for SDCC has an exclusive group set Three’s Company set of Janet Wood, Jack Tripper and Chisty Snow. This packaging showcased all three stars in one box. Syndicated will be releasing the character dolls individually later this month. The dolls are 3.75-inch scale with five points of articulation, on a colorful blister card with retro-style!

Super7's Cookie Monster
Super7 has the most adorable plush of Sesame Street‘s #1 cookie lover, Cookie Monster. Cookie stands 8 inches tall and is crafted from the softest Mochi Minky fabric with embroidered details. This was the company’s SDCC exclusive and was a hit with fans. Cookie Monster comes with his San Diego Comic-Con badge which says “Cookie Num Num Num” This wonderful plush is available in limited quantities on their website.

TLS Toys' Throwback Lineup
TLS Toys bring back Rainbow Brite in two versions: Rainbow Brite Indigo Plush Doll and Rainbow Brite dress up Plush Doll, $40 each.
The company also has the new Jem and the Holograms collector edition two pack which includes: Jerrica and Synergy – all we can say it’s “It’s showtime, Synergy!” The dolls retail for $120.
