Larry the Cable Guy Hospitalized, Production on His New TV Show Suspended

Daniel Lawrence Whitney, better known as Larry the Cable Guy, had to pause production of his upcoming TV show American Mayhem to deal with some medical mayhem. A case of appendicitis landed Whitney in the hospital on July 23.

A rep for Whitney told TMZ the comedian was hospitalized in Lincoln, Nebraska, late on Thursday night, and doctors diagnosed him with appendicitis. TMZ also reported that Whitney’s medical scare meant tapings of American Mayhem had to be postponed.
