Shannen Doherty is ready to open up about her cancer battle, her career, her relationships, and more in her new podcast called Let’s Be Clear with Shannen Doherty. The podcast, launching on December 6 to wherever you listen to podcasts, is a way to share what she’s learned during her decades-long career in Hollywood and after three marriages.

She shared, “I wanted to be clear about what it was like for me to work with Michael Landon on Little House [on the Prairie], what it was like to work with Wilford Brimley on Our House, to talk about the 90210 days. What was it like to be on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine when you’re in your early twenties? Charmed to Heathers and Mallrats.”

She continued, “What are the relationships in my life that have really altered and changed me, from my very first serious boyfriend to my multitude of marriages and engagements, to divorces?” Doherty divorced her third husband Kurt Iswarienko in April.

Doherty added that she hopes the podcast can serve as a memoir by sharing memories of her past, talking about the present, and sharing her hopes for the future. She doesn’t want to blame anyone for anything but be open about her experiences and journey through the good and the bad. She also hopes that the podcast can be an educational resource for those going through cancer and their loved ones. Doherty sadly announced that her breast cancer has returned at stage 4 and it has also spread to her brain.

Not only will Doherty be talking about her own life and experiences but she plans to have some guests including her mom and some famous friends. She shared, “When I’m working and when I’m creative, there’s no room for depression at all. It fuels me. Working makes me so happy. Even my podcast producers were like, ‘Really? You’re going to do three episodes in one day? It’s a lot.’ And I was like, ‘I could do five in a day.’ I just go … It’s also invigorating. I love it. So that helps me for sure.”
