See Dolly Parton’s Cover of 4 Non Blondes’ ‘What’s Up?’ (VIDEO)

Dolly Parton, 4 Non Blondes
Butterfly Records

Dolly Parton‘s new album Rockstar (available Nov. 17 via Butterfly Records) has just released its latest single, and it’s one that ’90s music fans will love.

What’s Up?” by San Francisco rock band 4 Non Blondes was a huge hit in 1993, and Parton performs with Linda Perry, the song’s writer and original singer, on the track from Rockstar.

Check out the video, which was filmed at Eakin Elementary School in the summer heat of Nashville:

“First of all, I love Linda Perry,” Parton says. “Second of all, I love this song written by Linda. Third of all, I love being a part of this video to try to make people think about what’s going on in this world today. Shout out to the little children that helped with the video! If our children don’t make it, then what will? Again, I ask ‘What’s Up?’ Enjoy.”

Parton’s Rockstar album is available for preorder on her website.
