Where Are The Cast Of ‘That ’70s Show’ Now?
Your favorite pot-smoking friends first appeared on your television screen 25 years ago on August 23, 1998, in That ’70s Show. The show featured a group of teenagers and some of their parents as they navigated life in the 1970s in the suburbs of Wisconsin. The show ran for eight seasons until its end in 2006. It became so popular that it spawned a short-lived spin-off called That ’80s Show and the recent Netflix series That ’90s Show.
While a few of the original cast members have returned for That ’90s Show, Topher Grace once said that it was unlikely that the entire original cast would return for a project. He admitted, “That cast has gone on to such amazing things. Each person individually has had such great success. I would absolutely love to do it to spend time with those guys, but I don’t want to think about it too much. It’d be too fun of an idea, and I doubt it would happen.” Not only that… one of the cast members is currently facing prison time. Let’s find out what the entire main cast is up to in 2023.
Topher Grace (45)
Topher Grace may have been one of the main stars of the series but left unexpectedly in 2005 to pursue a movie career instead. He did return for the series finale and reprised his role as Eric in one episode of That ’90s Show. Grace has appeared in films such as Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!, Interstellar, Spider-Man 3, BlacKkKlansman, and more.
He has since gone back to his sitcom roots and stars in the series Home Economics on ABC. Grace got married to actress Ashley Hinshaw in 2016 and they have three children together.
Laura Prepon (43)
Laura Prepon played Donna, Eric’s neighbor and on-again-off-again romance. She also returned for the That ’90s Show reboot and directed an episode. Her biggest role to date since That ’70s Show is likely her stint as Alex Vause on Orange is the New Black.
She has also appeared in The Girl on the Train, October Road, The Hero and starred in a series called Are You There, Chelsea? Prepon has been married to Ben Foster since 2018 and they have two children.
Wilmer Valderrama (43)
After playing Fez, Valderrama has worked regularly on NCIS and Minority Report as well as lent his voice to Disney’s Handy Manny and Encanto. He also returned to play Fez in three episodes of That ’90s Show.
After a controversial romance with singer Demi Lovato, he eventually settled down with model Amanda Pacheco and they have one daughter together.
Ashton Kutcher (45)
Kutcher is famous for his dim-witted characters like Kelso and Jesse in Dude, Where’s My Car? He also left That ’70s Show after season 7 and became one of the most famous of the bunch appearing in films such as The Butterfly Effect, What Happens in Vegas, No Strings Attached, The Ranch, and Two and a Half Men.
Kutcher is also known for his prank show Punk’d. He was married to Demi Moore for several years which got national attention due to their age difference but eventually married his That ’70s Show co-star Mila Kunis in 2015. They have two children together. The pair made an appearance in the reboot with their characters being married as well.
Mila Kunis (40)
Kunis famously lied about her age to get cast on That ’70s Show and it was her big break. She has since become a big star, voicing Meg on Family Guy and appearing in films such as Friends with Benefits, Black Swan, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and Bad Moms.
Before marrying Kutcher, she dated Macaulay Culkin for eight years. Kunis and Kutcher recently did a partnership with Airbnb where they lent their beach house to one lucky fan for a night. How fun!
Danny Masterson (47)
Masterson was already on Party of Five, Roseanne, and other sitcoms prior to joining the cast of That ’70s Show. After, he appeared in films such as Yes Man and The Chicago 8 and starred in Men at Work. He also starred with Kutcher on the Netflix series The Ranch.
Several years ago, he got in trouble with the law after accusations of sexual misconduct. A jury found him guilty of raping three women in the early 2000s and he is currently facing some serious prison time. He is married to actress Bijou Phillips and they have one daughter.
Debra Jo Rupp (72)
She returned as a main character for That ’90s Show and appeared in the fan-favorite show WandaVision.
Kurtwood Smith (80)
After That ’70s Show, he did a lot of voice work but also guest starred on shows such as 24 and Agent Carter.
Along with Rupp, he returned as a main character in That ’90s Show, reprising his role as the cranky Red.
Don Stark (69)
After That ’70s Show, he starred in Hit the Floor and Green Book. He also returned for a cameo in the reboot, sadly without his former TV wife.
Tanya Roberts (d. 2021)
Best known as a Bond Girl in A View to a Kill and as Julie in Charlie’s Angels, one of Roberts’ final roles was in That ’70s Show. She left the series in 2001 to take care of her husband, Barry Roberts.
She appeared in two episodes of Barbershop in 2005 but seemingly retired from acting after. She passed away in January 2021.
