When Naomi Judd passed away in 2022, her daughter Wynonna Judd decided to continue on with the reunion tour they had planned. After getting back into her music career, Wynonna has decided to embark on another solo tour this fall that will revisit her first two albums called Wynonna and Tell Me Why. In a video announcement about the tour, she was feeling nostalgic by going through some old outfits and CDs.

She shared in part, “Getting to share this tour with the fans who have been with me for 40 years, means the world to me. Deep diving into my first two solo albums, track by track, will be such a trip down memory lane. As I sit and listen to these two records, I’m flooded with the memories that surrounded that time in my life. The fans held me up and supported me through a season of change in 1992, and I now see “herstory” repeating itself. This music healed me then, and is healing me now. The circle of life continues…”

Some of her most popular singles from those albums include “She Is His Only Need,” “I Saw the Light,” “Tell Me Why,” and “Only Love.” She previously recorded and performed music with her mother, Naomi until Naomi was forced to retire in the early ’90s after a bout of hepatitis C. They came together to perform again several times before her death.
