MeTV, H&I and MeTV Toons Celebrate 60 Years of ‘Star Trek’ In September
Set your phasers to high as the legendary sci-fi hit TV show Star Trek turns 60 this year and the Weigel Group has you covered to celebrate all things deep space.
To kick things off, Trekkies can enjoy a special appearance by Captain Kirk himself as William Shatner will beam down to appear on MeTV’s Toon In With Me on September 8 at 7 am ET/PT along with host Bill Leff and his cartoon-loving sidekick, Toony the Tuna, where he’ll discuss some of his current creative projects and reflect on the enduring legacy of Star Trek.
That’s not all that’s in store for the month-long celebration on MeTV, Heroes & Icons (H&I) and MeTV Toons, as the Weigel Broadcasting channels will also feature themed Star Trek programming on MeTV, a complete marathon of the original series on H&I, and a Star Trek: The Animated Series marathon on MeTV Toons.
H&I will present every episode of the original Star Trek TV series over six consecutive days beginning Sunday, September 6 at 11 am ET/PT with “The Man Trap,” the series first broadcast episode.
MeTV Toons pays tribute with six back-to-back episodes of Star Trek: The Animated Series on Saturday, September 5 from 1-4 pm ET/PT, while MeTV spotlights themed late-night Star Trek programming every Saturday throughout September.

The original Star Trek airs regularly on MeTV Saturday nights at 11 pm ET/PT, and is a cornerstone of the H&I weeknight and Sunday primetime lineup with Star Trek (original series) airing at 8 pm ET/PT, Star Trek: The Next Generation airing at 9 pm ET/PT, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine airing at 10 pm ET/PT, Star Trek: Voyager airing at 11 pm ET/PT, and Star Trek: Enterprise airing at 12 am ET/PT.

A marathon of all 79 original series episodes begins Sunday, September 6 at 11 am, starting with Star Trek‘s first broadcast episode, “The Man Trap.” Episodes will continue to roll out all week long and conclude Saturday, September 11, at 1 am with the final episode, “Turnabout Intruder.” Times are as follows:
