Charlene Tilton, who played the sexy vixen Lucy Ewing on the hit CBS drama Dallas (1978-91), talks to us about a jaw-dropping, Texas-size Dallas collection she recently checked for a new episode of MeTV’s Collector’s Call.

The Aug. 2, 2026, episode spotlights Dallas superfan David Goodspeed, whose extensive collection includes thousands of items from the show’s 14-season run and beyond. Tilton, who appeared in 244 episodes from 1978 to 1991, is on hand to celebrate the enduring legacy of the Ewing family, along with host Lisa Whelchel (The Facts of Life).

“Oh, I think I actually screamed and cried,” Tilton told ReMIND magazine the first time she saw Godspeed’s collection. “There were so many things that it was almost overwhelming. There were things that I hadn’t seen before, things that I forgot about.”

Godspeed’s collection includes screen-worn costumes, games, signed posters, crew gifts, keychains, scripts, Ewing Oil-based collectibles and more. Tilton even brought something to share of her own.

“I brought something that David had never seen before — this wonderful shirt that Dolce & Gabbana made. It says, ‘Lucy Ewing, bringing sexy back since 1978.’ It’s got Swarovski crystals on it and everything. I think they sold for like $450. I have only one and I’ve never worn it.”

Tilton shares that she threw away most of her items from Dallas, including scripts, photos, and other memorabilia from the series throughout the years. She admits she was not much of a collector herself, joking, “Well, I am kind of a living bobblehead myself and I’m the actual size of a bobblehead!”

Now she has started a collection of items that fans have given her in recent years. “A fan made this Charlene Tilton doll dressed as Lucy Ewing. Someone actually made this, which I love [see below image, as she shares the item on our zoom call]. Then there’s this purse — it’s a TV set that showcases the Dallas house awning, Lucy and her car, even the license plate. People send me amazing and wonderful things, and those I collect and save, of course.”

The actress was deeply moved by Goodspeed’s devotion to the show. “It was pretty wild. I was humbled and honored. The fact that somebody has taken that time to collect all that Dallas stuff, curated it and displayed it in such a loving manner — I still am just in awe and so appreciative that he did that. David and his wife, Jen, have now become really dear friends of mine.”

Expert James Yarwell, who worked on the TV film Dallas: J.R. Return as a set production assistant, will appraise Goodspeed’s collection and tempt him with a trade from his own rare memorabilia.
