If you are a big fan of The Andy Griffith Show, then May is the month for you! MeTV is thrilled to be bringing back its famous “Month of Mayberry,” celebrating all things Mayberry, including special themed weeks spotlighting the unforgettable characters that made The Andy Griffith Show a timeless classic

Starting on Sunday, May 3, the annual event kicks off with the 1986 made-for-television movie Return to Mayberry, which reunited the original cast. Then on Monday, May 4, MeTV will present a week of back-to-back episodes highlighting the best of the lovable Sheriff himself with “All About Andy” week. It will feature classic Andy episodes, including “The Pickle Story.” airing Monday-Friday all week long at 8 pm and 8:30 pm. So kick back and enjoy your favorite sheriff and friends.

Monday, May 4

8pm ET/PT – “The Pickle Story” (Originally aired December 18, 1961)

No one will admit to Aunt Bee’s homemade pickles being the worst they’ve ever tasted. Andy switches them with store-bought ones to avoid eating hers, but her decision to enter them in the county fair presents a dilemma.

8:30pm ET/PT – “Citizen’s Arrest” (Originally aired December 16, 1963)

Gomer makes a citizen’s arrest of Barney for committing the same traffic violation that Barney just ticketed him for. This causes Barney to overreact, resigning as deputy and demanding a jail sentence in lieu of paying the fine. When Gomer finds out how far it has gone, he tries to come up with a solution.

Tuesday, May 5

8pm ET/PT – “Man in a Hurry” (Originally aired January 14, 1963)

Car trouble strands a busy businessman in Mayberry on a Sunday, where the slow pace registers more as an infuriating dead stop.

8:30pm ET/PT – “Andy and Barney in the Big City” (Originally aired March 26, 1962)

Andy and Barney travel to Raleigh on business and help catch a jewel thief in their hotel.

Wednesday, May 6

8pm ET/PT – “Andy on Trial” (Originally aired April 23, 1962)

Andy travels to a nearby city to issue a summons for a Mayberry traffic violation to a big newspaper publisher who failed to pay his fine. The publisher seeks revenge by having his attorney file charges of official misconduct against Andy.

8:30pm ET/PT – “Jailbreak” (Originally aired February 5, 1962)

The state police come to town to catch some payroll robbers. They want Andy and Barney to stay out of the way and let them handle it. The big boys end up needing Andy and Barney more than they thought.

Thursday, May 7

8pm ET/PT – “Alcohol and Old Lace” (Originally aired January 30, 1961)

In tracking down area moonshiners, Barney and Andy hardly suspect the little, old Morrison sisters who’ve been so helpful to them, but they should.

8:30pm ET/PT “Fun Girls” (Originally aired April 13 1964)

Two fun-loving girls from Mount Pilot interrupt Andy and Barney’s late-night office work. When Helen and Thelma Lou see them together, they get upset and cancel their dates to the big dance. Barney decides he and Andy will take the fun girls instead.

Friday, May 8
