‘The Month of Mayberry’ Returns to MeTV Celebrating ‘The Andy Griffith Show’
MeTV is bringing back its famous “Month of Mayberry,” a celebration of all things The Andy Griffith Show. Starting on Sunday, May 3 and running through May 29, 2026, viewers can catch specially selected episodes of The Andy Griffith Show for its monthlong celebration.
The annual event kicks off with the 1986 made-for-television movie Return to Mayberry, which reunited the original cast. Starting Monday, May 4, MeTV will present four weeks of back-to-back episodes spotlighting the unforgettable characters that made The Andy Griffith Show a timeless classic. Airing Monday-Friday all month long at 8pm and 8:30pm, the Mayberry themed weeks will include a special collection of “best of” episodes.
On Friday, May 8 at 8pm, viewers can revisit 1993’s The Andy Griffith Show Reunion, a one-hour reunion special featuring Andy Griffith, Ron Howard, Don Knotts, Jim Nabors, George Lindsey and Jack Dodson reflecting on the series and their favorite memories.

In this 1986 made-for-television movie, Andy Taylor returns to Mayberry to run again for sheriff, only to discover his former deputy, Barney, has also entered the race.

In this 1993 reunion special, the original cast gathered on the iconic courtroom set to reflect on the lasting impact of The Andy Griffith Show. Features Andy Griffith, Ron Howard, Rodney Dillard and Don Knotts.
