On Friday, December 19, the actress, 75, took to Facebook with a touching tribute to her former costar, who died at 82 on Tuesday, December 16.
In the comments, Gray’s followers joined her in honoring Gerard and sharing fond memories.
One fan wrote, “I’m so sorry for your loss, Erin. I was just reflecting with a friend who I hadn’t seen since those days that watching Gil on TV was one of the big things we had in common. He was a part of all our lives.”
