Just weeks after Al Pacino confirmed that he was expecting a child with his 29-year-old girlfriend Noor Alfallah, the baby has been born. This is Pacino’s fourth child and first with Alfallah. The couple welcomed a son named Roman Pacino and reportedly the baby and mother are doing quite well. At the time of writing, no photos of the baby have been shared on social media.

Pacino also has a 33-year-old daughter named Julie Marie with ex-girlfriend Jan Tarrant, and 22-year-old twins Anton and Olivia with ex Beverly D’Angelo. Pacino has always said that he loves being a dad and hopes to be there for his kids after his own father left when he was a young child.

He said, “I’m responsible for them. I’m a part of their life. When I’m not, it’s upsetting to me and to them. So that’s part of the gestalt. And I get a lot from it. It takes you out of yourself.” Fans were shocked at the news, especially since fellow actor Robert De Niro recently welcomed his seventh child at the age of 79.

While some question why someone would have a baby later in life, many celebrities have welcomed children in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and so on. Some have said that they wouldn’t have been able to care for a child during the height of their career or were too immature to do so in their 20s or even 30s and 40s.

De Niro commented on Pacino’s similar news and said, “He’s a few years older than me. God bless him. Very happy for him.” What’s your take on these actors having children in their 70s and 80s?
