8pm: Cactus Flower (1969)

Everett Collection
Hawn’s big breakthrough was in Cactus Flower, playing Toni Simmons, a young woman who gets tangled up in a complicated relationship with a dentist played by Walter Matthau. Her sincerity earned her the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, and the film became the 10th highest-grossing movie of 1969.
10pm: Butterflies Are Free (1972)

Everett Collection
This gentle romantic drama stars Hawn as Jill Tanner, the quirky neighbor of a blind young man played by Edward Albert. Eventually, their friendship becomes deeper, and his mother, played by Eileen Heckart, tries to break them up, fearing Jill will hurt her son. Butterflies Are Free won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress (Heckart) and a Golden Globe for Most Promising Newcomer (Albert).
12am: Foul Play (1978)

Paramount/Everett Collection
Foul Play is a Hitchcock-inspired film teaming up Hawn with Chevy Chase. She stars as Gloria Mundy, a San Francisco librarian who becomes unintentionally entangled in a conspiracy involving murder attempts, secret codes and even a wild chase through the city. It was a different role for her at the time, and it did quite well.
2:00am: Swing Shift (1984)

Everett Collection
Set during World War II, this drama stars Hawn as Kay Walsh, a woman whose life changes when she joins the workforce at a wartime airplane factory. The film explores many themes, including friendship, marriage and changing identities through difficult times.
4:00am: Best Friends (1982)

Warner Brothers/Everett Collection
Best Friends is the type of film that Hawn does best: romantic comedy. Hawn and Burt Reynolds play a screenwriting duo whose decision to get married leads them to realize that living together is much harder than writing together.
