1 The Ed Sullivan Show (April 7, 1963)

Meara and Stiller appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show 36 times on the show in total. They were among the more frequent variety-show guests of that era, thanks to their witty sketches and the novelty of being a comedic married couple. Key episodes featuring the duo include Season 21 Episode 33, where they guested with Ella Fitzgerald, Richard Harris, George Carlin, and did a sketch about a high-school reunion; Season 22 Episode 30, Season 23 Episode 18, and Season 23 Episode 19.

2 The Carol Burnett Show (November 1, 1972)

Meara and Stiller were featured on the legendary variety show in Season 6 Episode 8, titled “With Peggy Lee, Jerry Stiller, Anne Meara.” The duo performed a part of their act and participated in sketches, including a parody soap-opera sketch titled “As the Stomach Turns.”

3 Rhoda (Dec 20, 1976 & Jan 3, 1977)

In the 1970s, Stiller and Meara appeared together twice on the sitcom Rhoda, where Meara had a semi-regular role in the show’s third season as Sally Gallagher and Stiller guest-starred as her character’s ex-husband. The duo appeared in Season 3 Episode 2, titled “A Touch of Classy,” and Episode 14, titled “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?”

4 Archie Bunker’s Place (March 9, 1980)

The duo appeared together in the All in the Family spinoff in Season 1 Episode 23, titled “Veronica’s Ex.” In the episode, Meara played Veronica Rooney while Stiller played her ex-husband, Carmine.

5 The King of Queens (February 24, 2003 – May 14, 2007)

Stiller and Meara reunited on several episodes of The King of Queens, in which Stiller played the role of Arthur Spooner and Meara portrayed Veronica Olchin, the mother of Spence and later the wife of Arthur.
