This Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 6:30pm ET, Collector’s Call ends its sixth season with a very spooky visit to the home of David Kostman — a collector who has a “dungeon” where he keeps his amazing collection of props and costumes from horror, sci-fi and fantasy movies. As a kid, Kostman became hooked on a magazine called Famous Monsters of Filmland and started collecting all things scary. His collection includes movie posters, autographs, arachnids and even vampire teeth. During the episode, expert Mark Short will step in and see if Kostman wants to make a trade.
Collector’s Call is a MeTV series hosted by Lisa Whelchel, who travels across the country to spotlight some of the most fascinating private collections of pop culture and nostalgia memorabilia. Each episode gives viewers a peek into rare and unique treasures, as Whelchel teams up with expert appraisers to reveal the current value of the items. The show also adds an element of suspense by introducing a potential trade: experts tempt collectors with a special item that could enhance their collection, leaving them with the tough decision of whether to swap one of their own prized possessions for something new.
