NCIS just kicked off its 23rd season — and in its 22nd year on the air, with six spinoffs and over 400 episodes under its belt, it is still beloved by fans, and remains one of network TV’s most popular dramas. It’s a testament to how invested we are in the Major Case Response Team, led by Leroy Gibbs (Mark Harmon) for the first 19 seasons, and helmed by Alden Parker (Gary Cole) in more recent years.
