Although Happy Days was technically an ensemble show, there were a few undeniable stars in the cast — and one of them was certainly Richie Cunningham, portrayed by Ron Howard. The prototypical all-American boy, Richie felt like a continuation of Howard’s earlier role as Opie on The Andy Griffith Show — only now, instead of capering wholesomely around early 1960s rural North Carolina, he was a teen trying to meet girls, survive high school life, and consume a near-infinite amount of burgers Arnold’s Drive-In in 1950s Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Whether he was spending quality time with with his family, or running around with best buds Ralph Malph (Donny Most), Potsie Weber (Anson Williams), and the “coolest of the cool” Fonzie (Henry Winkler), Richie was usually at the heart of any episode’s action. But how well do you remember what happened to the flame-haired teen? Read on to find out if you’re a walking Richie-pedia.
