David Letterman’s Full Late Night Catalog Heads to Streaming for the First Time

Comedy fans rejoice! For the first time ever, the full library of Late Night with David Letterman will be available in one place. Starting September 10, Samsung TV Plus’ Letterman TV network will add 1,800 episodes of the iconic NBC late-night show to its streaming lineup.

“I can’t begin to express how happy I am to be on Samsung TVs. Plus, listen to this—stay in your seats, the ride is not over. The Letterman TV channel now includes Late Night,” David Letterman said in a statement. “All the fun of NBC and me 40 years ago. Are you kidding!? The Golden Age of television!!! All thanks to my old friends (cough) at NBC, joining my new Samsung TV Plus friends. Prayers answered. Now, [there’s] more reason to stay home and watch TV. Thanks for believing in me, America!”

Letterman TV launched in December 2024, initially streaming his CBS staple, Late Show with David Letterman. The channel features full episodes, highlights, and exclusive extras, such as short-form clips, intros, and Letterman’s signature biting commentary.

Airing from February 1, 1982, to June 25, 1993, NBC’s Late Night with David Letterman spanned 11 seasons and 1,819 episodes, earning 11 Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Variety Series, 14 nominations for Outstanding Writing, and the prestigious Peabody Award in 1991.

With the NBC archive now included, Letterman TV will showcase over 30 years of his career and more than 6,000 episodes. Fans can revisit some of his most beloved bits, from Stupid Pet Tricks and Stupid Human Tricks to the infamous Top Ten Lists and Small Town News, along with cult-favorite figures like Larry “Bud” Melman and Chris Elliott‘s “Guy Under the Seats.”
