63-year-old Danny Bonaduce recently underwent brain surgery after being diagnosed with a neurological disorder called hydrocephalus. It took a while for doctors to figure out what was causing Bonaduce’s symptoms, including the inability to walk. Bonaduce previously shared, “My life was talking to doctors. I had meetings with five doctors on one single day, and nobody could figure out what it was. And I thought, ‘Well, this is a big deal. I’m falling down now. That can’t be good.’”

Even after his diagnosis, he still doesn’t know what caused the condition, which results in fluid in the brain. During the surgery, a stent and drainage port is placed in the brain. He said that if the surgery goes well, he should be about 50 percent better right away. After the surgery on Monday, his wife Amy confirmed that he was out of surgery and doing well. She said, “It’s been a long day but I just wanted to let you guys know that Danny’s surgery went according to plan and he’s doing well.”

Bonaduce said that he hopes to be able to walk and function normally again after months of declining health. He even had to pause his radio show called The Danny Bonaduce & Sarah Morning Show on iHeart Radio while he was experiencing health issues. While Bonaduce was going through his own struggles, he received some other bad news. The home that served as his TV house in The Patridge Family was recently demolished.

THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY, Danny Bonaduce

The site, known as Columbia Ranch, featured several iconic television homes that have now been torn down. Despite the popularity of the sets, many of the homes are being torn down to make way for a major expansion for Warner Bros.

In its place, there will reportedly be about 16 new soundstages, a new office, a commissary, a parking garage, and a place for sets and props. The Partridge Family home was one of the most beloved on the block, built back in 1953. When Bonaudce heard the news, he shared on Twitter, “A lot of people have tweeted me that the Partridge Family house on the Columbia Ranch has been razed. It’s the end of an era. I was lucky that I got to see it for the last time before lockdown in early 2020. Here are some pics.” Watch a short clip of the home being demolished below:
