Every August, thousands of fans make the journey to Memphis, Tennessee to celebrate the life and legacy of Elvis Presley during Elvis Week. This year, Elvis Week 2025 takes place from August 8 to 16, with a full lineup of concerts, dinners, panels and once-in-a-lifetime experiences for Elvis fans.

Among the most anticipated events are the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest and its kick-off showcase, where past champions return to the stage showing off their talents. Fans can also look forward to special tributes to Elvis’s gospel roots, as well as a look back at his unforgettable film career during A Night in Elvis’s Hollywood. There will even be a lively dance party at Club Elvis for those who want to party.

Throughout the week, Graceland will host panels with those who knew Elvis personally, including Linda Thompson and Jerry Schilling, who will share stories and lead fans through a private tour of the mansion.

The most moving part of Elvis Week is always the Candlelight Vigil, which begins the evening of August 15. As the gates open, fans are asked to quietly make their way to the Meditation Garden to pay tribute, each carrying a candle in remembrance. The vigil continues through the night, often lasting into the early hours of August 16. It is a moment of deep reflection for fans who loved Elvis and his music.

Many fans stay at The Guesthouse at Graceland, a short walk from the mansion, which offers its own concerts, parties and Elvis-themed dining experiences. If you’re interested in attending, get the full schedule and buy tickets here. If you can’t make it in person, the event will be sharing virtual offerings and videos of some of the panels and events for fans to watch.
