Just over a year ago, movie star Bruce Willis retired from his long and successful acting career. His family, including wife Emma Heming Willis and their two daughters and ex-wife Demi Moore and their three adult daughters, confirmed the news. They shared with fans that Willis would be retiring after being diagnosed with aphasia, which can affect speech and language. He had a whirlwind of filming many movies and just couldn’t keep up anymore, reportedly experiencing trouble speaking his lines and memorizing the scripts in the last year before his retirement.

In February of this year, he was also diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. Unfortunately, there is no cure at this time. His family and friends have been rallying for him, including fellow action movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger. In a recent interview, Schwarzenegger opened up about his friendship and admiration for Willis.
