The Rookies, an American police procedural show from the 1970s, is coming to FETV this July. The series followed three rookie officers named Danko, Webster and Gillis, as they adjusted to life on the force under the guidance of Lieutenant Ryker. Produced by Aaron Spelling and Leonard Goldberg, the show, which debuted in 1972, portrayed young recruits, many of whom were military veterans or college graduates, balancing intense police work with personal challenges. Over the years, The Rookies has returned to TV through reruns and streaming, and fans are happy to see it come on FETV very soon.

In June, FETV is also bringing some other classics back. Every Sunday afternoon, FETV presents its Sunday Movie Matinee at 3pm ET. This weekend, fans can expect to watch North to Alaska, then Father of the Bride on June 15, Hatari! on June 22 and Smash-Up Interstate 5 on June 29.

FETV isn’t forgetting the fathers who love their classic TV, either. To celebrate Father’s Day this month, the network is airing The Greatest Dads on FETV on Father’s Day, June 15 from 9am to 3pm ET. Catch episodes of Leave It To Beaver, My Three Sons and Bewitched.

FETV recently added My Three Sons to the schedule in February and airs episodes along with classics such as Barney Miller, Quincy M.E., Highway Patrol, Leave it to Beaver, Beverly Hillbillies, Bewitched and many more. Starting on June 2, episodes of Adam-12 and Barney Miller will be shown at 10:25pm and 11:35pm ET respectively. What show or movie are you most excited to rewatch?
