Shaun Cassidy and Brothers Ryan & Patrick Cassidy Celebrate Mom Shirley Jones’ 91st Birthday
The Partridge Family star Shirley Jones recently celebrated a very special birthday, turning 91 years old on March 31, 2025 — and one of her sons took her out to lunch to celebrate the milestone. Shaun Cassidy shared several photos from her birthday lunch, including Jones sitting near a gorgeous white cake with spring flowers on top.

While it doesn’t appear that Ryan and Patrick Cassidy, her other sons, were in attendance, they posted their own special wishes for their mom on social media. Ryan wrote, alongside a selfie of the two of them, “Happy Birthday Mom! Deeply grateful to spend this day with you. I love you….❤️❤️.”

Last year for her big 9-0, the whole family got together at a cabin in the mountains to celebrate her birthday. She wore a sash and the birthday posts made reference to Miss Pittsburgh, the title she held way back in 1952 just before she became a film and television star.

While many know her as Shirley Partridge in The Partridge Family, which she starred in alongside her real-life stepson David Cassidy, Jones was also in Oklahoma! (1955), Carousel (1956), The Music Man (1962) and many more. She has continued to act sporadically in recent years and has one project in development called Beyond Legend Johnny Kakota.
