‘Bold and the Beautiful’s Brooke and Ridge May Be Done — Here Are 7 Other Times Brooke Found Love

Veteran fans of The Bold and the Beautiful recall that beautiful Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) fell in love with dashing Ridge Forrester (Ronn Moss, Thorsten Kaye) before the two even met! Long before stalking following on Instagram became the thing to do, Brooke perused the society pages of Los Angeles newspapers to keep tabs on the handsome playboy. Their first meeting, out at the Forrester pool when Brooke was working as a caterer, was electric — and their subsequent romance became legendary.
Alas, their time may finally be over. It wasn’t problems in the bedroom that tore these two apart, but rather issues in the boardroom. Brooke’s daughter Hope (Annika Noelle) and Ridge’s daughter Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) are at odds over control of Forrester Creations, the family design business.

Recently, Brooke confronted Ridge in the Forrester living room, blasting him for not standing by her when she needed him the most. Ridge has turned to Taylor for emotional support. They, too, have a long history. Will this leave Brooke out in the cold in terms of romance with Ridge?
It’s been over with Ridge before — let’s not forget that Brooke has had other suitors in the past. Here’s a look back at seven men who have loved Brooke!
1Sweathog to Sweetheat
When B&B debuted, Brooke was already involved romantically. She was dating handsome police officer Dave Reed, played by Stephen Shortridge, who also played Beau DeLabarre, one of the “Sweathogs” on Welcome Back, Kotter. Dave was a standup guy and would have made Brooke a fine husband and provider had she married him. Brooke even accepted his marriage proposal — however, she couldn’t fight her attraction to Ridge. Dave faded from the scene after he and Brooke split up. Perhaps someday a legal crisis will bring him back into Brooke’s orbit?
Here, Brooke tells Caroline that she and Dave are no longer together.
2Legal Briefs
This isn’t the first time that boardroom shenanigans have gone on at Forrester Creations. In 1993, Brooke leveraged her rights to the lucrative BeLieF patent to secure controlling interest in the House of Forrester. Contrary to what Stephanie (Susan Flannery) believed, this was Brooke’s legal right.
But she couldn’t do it alone – Brooke had legal aid in the form of suitor Connor Davis (Scott Thompson Baker). And the man just happened to also be Ridge’s former high school football rival! Versed in contract law, Connor gave Brooke what she needed to win. Alas, he couldn’t quite capture her heart in a real way. At the end of the day, it was business that tied these two together.
3Father Figure
Ridge dumped Brooke and married Caroline (Joanna Johnson), but Brooke still knew deep down in her heart that her story with Ridge wasn’t over. However, she couldn’t deny that he had moved on with his life. Around this time, Eric (John McCook) and Stephanie’s 30-year marriage had hit an impasse. They were headed for divorce.
Eric and Brooke struck up a friendship, which led to romance. She became pregnant with his son, Eric, Jr. (Jeremy Snider; Jacob Young), as Eric finally extricated himself from Stephanie. He and Brooke wed in a romantic ceremony in Palm Springs, took a beautiful balloon ride, and off they went on their honeymoon. Alas, their happiness was brief. Less than a year later, Brooke betrayed her marriage vows by making love to Ridge on the lab floor at Forrester to celebrate the invention of the BeLieF formula.
Despite this, Eric and Brooke were later able to find peace and remain friends. In fact, the couple entered a second marriage years later when Ridge reunited with Taylor (then, Hunter Tylo), and Eric left Stephanie. Their repeat union was even briefer. Still, Brooke holds a special place in her heart for Eric , and they remain good friends.
4The Nick of Time
Brooke was captivated by Nick Marone (Jack Wagner), Ridge’s charming half-brother — the two men shared the same father, Massimo Marone (Joe Mascolo). They also shared loving the same woman in Brooke! Brooke and Nick were married, but their life together didn’t last long, though it did yield a child: a son, the rarely-referenced Jack.
For B&B’s 35th anniversary, the show focused on Brooke and her past loves, and Wagner reprised his role as Nick for this special episode. Like the other men in Brooke’s life, Nick ended up taking a backseat to Ridge.
5A Thorne In Her Side
Caroline wasn’t the only woman that both Ridge and Thorne loved. Thorne (Winsor Harmon) fell in love with Brooke after his relationship with Macy (Bobbie Eakes) ended. Sadly, the couple had next to zero support from the Forrester family. Ridge took it upon himself to lie to Brooke that he wanted to reconcile with her, so that she’d realize she wasn’t in love with Thorne at all.
Ridge’s actions hurt Brooke on an emotional level. She also suffered a physical attack from Stephanie, Ridge and Thorne’s mama, who assaulted Brooke at the Forrester cabin after finding out that the “slut from the valley” (Stephanie’s words) was involved with Thorne.
During Brooke and Thorne’s brief time together, they vacationed in beautiful Italy. But alas, Brooke and Thorne’s relationship did not stand the test of time. He overheard Brooke professing her lifelong love of Ridge. This put the kibosh on the couple’s pairing.

6Marry Me, Bill
Brooke’s relationship with publishing magnate Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) has been her most dangerous, in the sense that it almost cost her her relationship with her sister, Katie (Heather Tom).
Bill and Ridge will never like each other. The publisher taunts Ridge, calling him a “dressmaker;” Ridge doesn’t think much of Bill, either. Ridge tried to interrupt Brooke and Bill’s wedding, using the knowledge that Bill had had a fling with Quinn (Rena Sofer). Bill didn’t stand for Ridge’s meddling, however, and arranged for Ridge to fall out of a helicopter, nearly costing Ridge his life!
Katie suffered from postpartum depression after giving birth to her and Bill’s son, Will (now, Crew Morrow). In her unwell mental state, she urged Bill and Brooke to give into their passion. Katie was irrational, but Bill and Brooke decided to take her up on her offer.
Bill and Brooke later married, but the union didn’t last. While Brooke and Katie were able to move forward and put Brooke’s betrayal in the past, Bill and Katie haven’t been as fortunate. He’s asked many times for Katie to reconcile, vowing that he’ll never turn to Brooke again. Katie subscribes to the “fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me” school of thought. She’s happy to co-parent Will with Bill, but she’s not taking her son’s father back on any kind of romantic level.
7“My Son-In-Law, My Lover”
It sounds like the name of a Lifetime movie, but Brooke Logan could have starred in “My Son-In-Law, My Lover.” Sure, Deacon Sharp (Sean Kanan) was on the outs with his wife Bridget (Jennifer Finnigan; Ashley Jones), the two were deeply drawn to each other, and Brooke was not with Ridge at the time. But that didn’t give Deacon or Brooke a pass to hook up. They made love, and Brooke became pregnant with Hope (Annika Noelle).
Years later, Deacon slept over at Brooke and Ridge’s home when Ridge was out of town. And by “sleeping over” we mean, sleeping over. Deacon stayed on top of the covers during his night with Brooke. Nothing happened! But even the appearance of impropriety drove a wedge between Ridge and Brooke.
And, now, the two are on the outs with each other. Ridge sees Brooke siding with Hope and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) at Forrester as a deep betrayal. Brooke feels Ridge is the one who’s been disloyal. And now that he’s reconnected with Taylor? Well, this time there may be no reuniting, especially after Brooke slapped Ridge in a fit of rage. She’s left wondering if she ever meant anything to him. Are Brooke and Ridge destined to find their way back to one another? Most likely, that will happen. Their romance is, after all, “unforgettable.”
