87-Year-Old Jack Nicholson Seen in Rare Photo With Daughter
Jack Nicholson enjoyed a warm holiday season with his family. In a rare moment captured and posted Instagram by his daughter, Lorraine Nicholson, on January 2, the 87-year-old actor was seen sharing a father-daughter moment with Lorraine, 34, as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders.
The three-time Academy Award winner, who has largely stepped out of the public eye in recent years, was last photographed publicly in April 2023 during an NBA playoff game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies. At the event, a video shared on X (formerly Twitter) showed Jack greeting Lakers legend LeBron James with a warm handshake and a hug.
In the same Instagram carousel, Lorraine, dressed in a festive red outfit, posed alongside her brother Ray Nicholson, 32, her nephew Duke Nicholson, 26 and his girlfriend Devin Lee Carlson. Duke, also an actor, is the son of Jack’s eldest daughter, Jennifer Nicholson, 61. “The giving season 🎁,” Lorraine captioned the post.

Lorraine and Ray are the children of Jack and his former partner, Rebecca Broussard. Lorraine previously revealed a special nickname her father gave her: “Perf,” short for perfect, a moniker he’s used for her since childhood. Over the years, Lorraine has joined her father at various events, including the Golden Globes in 2007, and has carved out her own career in film. After graduating from Brown University, she starred in the 2011 film Soul Surfer and made her directorial debut at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival with her short film Life Boat.

Jack also shares children with other partners: Caleb Goddard, 54, with his Five Easy Pieces co-star Susan Anspach, and Honey Hollman, 43, with Danish model Winnie Hollman. In 1994, Jack welcomed his youngest daughter, Tessa Gourin, with Jennine Gourin, though the two have been estranged for much of her life.
