Classic Rock Bands Touring in 2025: Journey, Foreigner, Stevie Nicks, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Def Leppard & More

Concerts aren’t just for the summertime — many of your favorite classic musicians, including Journey, Foreigner, Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, ZZ Top, Barry Manilow and Alice Cooper, will be hitting the road this year while you’re still scraping ice off your car.

Bryan Adams

Wherever you go, whatever you do … your one chance to see Bryan Adams in the U.S. this year is during his residency at the Encore Theater at the Wynn in Las Vegas, which runs March 7-16. He’ll spend the rest of 2025 touring internationally.

Cheap Trick

Cheap Trick aren’t just live at Budokan — they’ll be playing live all over the US and Canada, from late January through August 2025. They will also be openers on Heart’s “Royal Flush” tour from late March through early April, and appear with Rod Stewart live at several concerts.

Alice Cooper
The original shock rocker is turning 77 this year, but he isn’t slowing down — his 2025 tour runs from late January through August, with appearances in the southeast and Europe, a February residency on the Rock Legends Cruise XII 2025 (which also includes Styx and Foghat), and an appearance on Sunday, May 18 at the “Boardwalk Rock Festival” in Ocean City, Maryland, where he will appear alongside Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, and Night Ranger.

Dead & Company

Bob Weir and Mickey Hart’s Dead & Company will continue their “Dead Forever” residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada, which first ran from May-August 2024. Their 18-show 2025 residency, which has the band playing two weekends a month from March through May, celebrates the 10th anniversary of Weir and Hart’s post-Grateful Dead project, which also includes guitarist John Mayer.

Def Leppard

The original Pyromaniacs will appear at the “Boardwalk Rock Festival” on Saturday, May 18, in Ocean City, Maryland, alongside Alice Cooper, Mötley Crüe, and Night Ranger. Then, they’ll begin a summer tour with Midwest, Northeast, and Canadian tour dates. They’ll wrap it up on Saturday, Aug. 16, at the Illinois State Fair 2025 in Springfield, Illinois.

The Eagles
The Eagles will continue their run at the Sphere in Las Vegas, with a residency that sees them playing selected weekends from Jan. 17 to April 12. Their only currently planned 2025 tour dates are scheduled at the Sphere.

Foghat

The slow riders will be continuing their 2024 “Sonic Mojo” tour into 2025, with dates in Florida, the Southwest, the Northeast, and the Midwest, from January through early April.

Foreigner

Foreigner are hitting the road hard this spring and summer, criss-crossing the country from March through October. The tour will take the band through Florida, the Southwest, the Midwest, and the Northeast, concluding with a two-night stand at Atlantic City’s Hard Rock Live on Oct. 10 and 11.

Sammy Hagar

The Red Rocker is on the road in 2025, with a southwestern solo dates residency in January, February, and April, followed by a Las Vegas residency at the Dolby Live at the Park MGM that runs through the first half of May.

The first ladies of classic rock are playing all over the country (and Canada!) from February through April on their “Royal Flush” tour. Opening acts over the course of the tour include Cheap Trick, Squeeze, and Lucinda Williams — and this is your only chance to see Squeeze in the U.S. in 2025!

Billy Joel

The big shot keeps threatening to retire from touring — but take it as a matter of trust: this innocent man is still playing shows all over the East Coast, plus stops in the upper Midwest and Utah, from January 17 through August 8. But many of the shows are selling out, so act soon if you don’t want to be left crying over a bottle of red and a bottle of white instead of seeing the concert.

Journey

Don’t stop believin’ … that Journey will announce more 2025 concerts! Right now, the rockers only have three dates planned — Jan. 18 in La Quinta, CA, Mar. 12 in Nashville, TN, and Mar. 16 in Highland, CA. But the band may book more tour stops, so keep your eyes peeled.

Lynrd Skynyrd

The masters of Southern rock will be hitting the festival circuit hard this spring and summer. They’ll kick things off with a March 5 appearance at the Florida Strawberry Festival 2025 in Plant City, Florida, then join the traveling “Rock the Country Festival” (headlined by Kid Rock and Nickelback) for multiple dates. On June 21, they’ll headline the Eau Claire, Wisconsin”Summer Jam 2025″ with the Marshall Tucker Band and Rick Springfield.

Barry Manilow
2025 is the 50th anniversary of Manilow’s “Mandy” hitting number one, so it’s the perfect time to see him in action. Catch the man who writes the songs that make the whole world sing at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, where he’ll be doing a residency on select nights in February, March, April, May, June, September, October, November, and December.
He’ll also be playing a handful of dates in the Midwest and East Coast, including a five-night run at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall from April 9-13.

Rod Stewart

Sir Rod is still crooning the hits at 80, and he’ll be bringing his “One Last Time” tour to the U.S. starting in February. The tour hits the East Coast and Midwest throughout the year, and includes a March and June residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, plus a July 18 concert at New York City’s Yankee Stadium with Billy Joel. Plus, many shows feature Cheap Trick as the opening act.

Don’t ever lose your faith in the former Police frontman, because his “Sting 3.0” tour is still going strong, and will be hitting dates in the Southwest, Midwest, and West Coast throughout the rest of the year. He will also be joining piano man Billy Joel on select dates.

We are TESLA the band and have been rocking out for over 40 years!” The band (not the car) will be gigging hard this year, with a tour itinerary that runs from January to August, and takes them across the Southeast, Midwest, and New Hampshire.

ZZ Top

The Bearded Ones will be hitting the South and Midwest from March through April, before moving on to Australia and Canada in the summer. Though founding bassist Dusty Hill passed in 2021, the band are still rocking out, with the band’s longtime guitar tech, Elwood Francis, subbing in for Hill. And just in case you’re curious — yes, Francis has a truly fantastic beard.
