Don’t Miss the Annual New Years ‘Twilight Zone’ Marathon on Heroes & Icons

Heroes and Icons Twilight Zone Marathon
Heroes & Icons Network; Everett Collection

This is a very special year for Twilight Zone fans as the iconic host Rod Serling would have turned 100 years old this year on Christmas (he passed away on June 28, 1975, at the age of 50 after a heart attack). For those celebrating, they won’t have to wait long for a Twilight Zone marathon. The Heroes & Icons Network is presenting their annual Twilight Zone New Year’s Marathon from December 31, 2024, to January 2, 2025.

The celebration begins on New Year’s Eve at 8pm ET and continues until January 2 at 6am ET. 68 back-to-back episodes will be shown, including some fan-favorite episodes like “Monsters Are Due on Maple Street” and the infamous “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet” starring William Shatner.

For the marathon, the episodes will focus on the original series, created and hosted by Serling. The show originally aired from 1959 to 1964 and was a brand-new take on science fiction, fantasy and sometimes horror. It sparked many reboots and revivals including the recent 2019 series hosted by horror movie icon Jordan Peele.

The Heroes & Icons Network features some of the best nostalgic television, including the original Star Trek series, Walker, Texas Ranger, Nash Bridges, Hawaii Five-O, MacGyver, The A-Team and Lethal Weapon. It is available to watch on select cable and satellite systems as well as streaming on Frndly TV and Philo. Will you be watching?
