FETV (Family Entertainment Television) has a brand-new schedule coming at the end of October. Starting on Oct. 28, 2024, the cable network designed for programming that the entire family can enjoy, will play classics such as Laramie, Hazel, The Beverly Hillbillies, Daniel Boone, Perry Mason, The Lone Ranger and many more.

FETV focuses on television shows and movies from the 1950s to the 1980s. While the network mainly shows nostalgic TV sitcoms, westerns and mystery series, they also air classic movies on Sundays. On the new schedule, it seems there will be a rotating Sunday mystery matinee each week at 3pm.

As part of the exciting announcement, Laramie makes its debut on the network. The American western TV series aired on NBC from 1959 to 1963, and starred John Smith, Robert L. Crawford and Robert Fuller. Smith portrayed Slim Sherman, the owner of the Sherman Ranch, and followed his journey of trying to keep the ranch afloat along with his brother and a drifter named Jess Harper (Fuller) after the father and owner of the ranch passed away.

Laramie was one of the first shows to transition from black-and-white to color broadcasts and featured a rotating list of guest stars. To celebrate the show’s debut on FETV, the network is having a trivia contest and will award winners autographed photos of Fuller. Fuller also handpicked episodes to be featured in a 10-episode marathon of Laramie called “Bob’s Best” on November 2nd and 3rd.

We are very pleased to partner with Mr. Fuller to distribute his autographed photos to our lucky winners, as well as share his favorite episodes from the series.”
