Beloved Henson Films Coming Back to Theaters for a Limited Time

Fathom Events is at it again to make sure you can relive your favorite nostalgic classics on the big screen once more. For fans of Jim Henson, his fantastical film Labyrinth is heading back into theaters for a limited time. Fans can purchase tickets for March 6 or 10 to see David Bowie as the Goblin King.

The 1986 movie follows Sarah, played by Jennifer Connelly, who is frustrated with having to babysit her stepbrother another weekend. She summons some Goblins to take him away in her imagination but soon realizes that he is actually gone. She must follow him into a fantasy world and save him from the Goblin King, first getting past the characters and maze of the labyrinth.

It has become a fan-favorite over the years, so it makes sense why Fathom would choose this for a comeback. The original Muppet Movie is coming back in a few short months too on June 2 and 3. The Muppet Movie is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year! The film follows the lovable Muppets in their first full-length movie. Kermit the frog heads for Hollywood, destined to be a star along with his friends Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and Gonzo. Unfortunately, the evil Doc Hopper kidnaps Miss Piggy and tries to mess up their plans of becoming famous.
