If you’re a bibliophile, or simply a fan of Jane Austen, make sure to tune into Hallmark this month for Loveuary 2024!

Next up: An American in Austen. Premiering Saturday, Feb. 17 at 8pmET, this film takes us back to the Regency-era world of Jane Austen‘s Pride and Prejudice when Harriet (Dynasty’s Eliza Bennett), convinced no man can rival the perfection of the fictional Mr. Darcy, is transported back into the world of Jane Austen’s classic novel. There, she gets a chance to find out if Mr. Darcy (Nicholas Bishop) is truly the perfect man.

For Pride and Prejudice fans, this movie is a must-watch!

Pride and Prejudice, originally published in 1813, was Jane Austen’s second novel, and followed Elizabeth Bennet and her family as she navigated manners and marriage in high society (and has been adapted into many films over the years). Austen was the literary queen of writing female-centric novels about dating and drama in British society, and we have her to thank for shows like Downton Abbey and Bridgerton (and perhaps channels like Hallmark in general!).

An American in Austen is the third of four Austen-themed films set to premiere during Hallmark’s month of Loveuary. The first film, Paging Mr. Darcy, in which a love of Jane Austen’s novels helps two people (Mallory Jansen and Will Kemp) overcome their pride premiered on Feb. 3 (repeats on Saturday, Feb. 17 at noon), and the second film, Love & Jane, which featured Alison Sweeney as a career woman and aspiring writer with an affinity for Jane Austen, aired on Feb. 10 (repeats on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 7pm). The final film, an adaptation of the novel Sense and Sensibility, will air on Feb. 24 at 8pm (repeats on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 5pm).
