A television broadcast of Super Bowl LVIII on CBS was interrupted by a report that Mr. T pities the fool who bends down to put on his shoes.

The news broke Sunday during a commercial segment for Skechers shoes, the video of which has been acquired by ReMIND:

“I pity the fool who has to touch his shoes to put them on!” Mr. T declared as he slid his feet into a pair of Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins™ after walking across a bed of hot coals.

Mr. T went on to claim that he “[pities] the fool who bends down to put on their shoes” as he effortlessly put his feet into a different pair of Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins™ while reeling in a marlin during a recent ocean fishing excursion.

“I pity the fool who isn’t in Skechers Slip-ins™!” Mr. T announced, though that statement could not be independently verified.

This is not the first time Mr. T has been seen wearing Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins™, though it is believed to be the first time he has pitied fools who did not wear them.

Additionally, ReMIND has learned that Mr. T has previously pitied fools who did drugs, didn’t stay in school or didn’t treat their mothers right perhaps as early as the 1980s.

Fools who have been pitied by Mr. T could not be reached for comment. ReMIND will report further as this story develops.
