Jurassic World Rebirth, the seventh Jurassic Park film, opens on July 2. But for cinema fans and dino enthusiasts alike, there’s nothing quite like the original 1993 Jurassic Park. The film with the highest-ever box office gross at the time, Jurassic Park inspired a generation of scientists as well as filmmakers, and was part of Steven Spielberg‘s legendary multi-decade hot streak (did you know he was shooting Schindler’s List at the same time?). But more important than any box office detail or filmmaking trivia is this fact: over 30 years later, it’s still incredibly fun to watch.
