Sylvester Stallone Reveals He’s Written More ‘Rocky’ — He Shares His Hopes for Future Films
While Rocky wasn’t Sylvester Stallone‘s first appearance on screen (he had appeared in the coming-of-age comedy The Lords of Flatbush and had some minor TV roles), it kick-started a career that has spanned over 80 movies, which combined have made more than $7 billion at the box office.
This year, Stallone is celebrating two major milestones: He turned 80 years old on July 6, and November 20 will mark the 50th anniversary of Rocky‘s release.
Along the way, Stallone has starred in some of the most famous franchises in history — besides Rocky, there’s Rambo and The Expendables — and he’s written or cowritten more than 40 different movies. He has appeared in films that were No. 1 at the box office every single decade since the 1970s. He is, without a doubt, one of the biggest stars of all time.
