After recovering from a serious infection back in the summer months, Madonna has resumed her tour. During one of her recent performances in Washington D.C., she was getting fans into the holiday spirit by bringing Santa on stage. A man dressed up in the iconic red suit and white beard joined her during one of her performances and got a surprise of his own!

In a clip obtained from the show, Madonna and Santa were sitting down as dancers performed in front of them. One of the dancers approached Santa to give him a lap dance and he tumbled forward, causing the dancer and himself to fall on the stage. Both were seemingly okay as Madonna checked in on Santa and handed him back his red hat.

Despite fans being annoyed with her tardiness to her own shows, people seemed to be having a good time. The 65-year-old has said that she is very grateful to be back to performing after being put in a medically induced coma for 48 hours just a few months ago. She revealed that she passed out on her bathroom floor and her friend took her to the hospital. She was suffering from a serious bacterial infection.

Madonna shared, “My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children. My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour. I also didn’t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show.”

This year marks Madonna’s 40th anniversary in the entertainment industry and she currently has shows going on until April 2024. Her setlist reportedly includes many of her classic hit songs including “Like a Prayer,” “Vogue,” and “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina.”
