Cher is already getting into the Christmas spirit. The 77-year-old singer recently revealed that she will be releasing her very first holiday album. Despite releasing music since the ’60s, she has never worked on her own Christmas album so this is a very exciting announcement for her fans. She confirmed the news with several posts on social media.

In one post, she shared a photo of herself standing on a giant snowball with ornaments all around her. She wrote, “Are you spending Christmas with me? #cherchristmas” In another post, she teased the album, wearing a beautiful sequined gown and standing in front of a frozen tundra. Cher recently spilled some information about her new album, which also marks her newest album of original material in just over a decade.

She said, “It’s a Cher Christmas album. It’s not your mother’s Christmas album.” She added that she is “really, really excited because there’s millions of people on it, and I’ve never had duets. I’ve never had people on any of my records.” Unfortunately, she didn’t yet confirm who will be featured on her new album. Even though she said she never does duets, she rose to fame singing with her ex-husband Sonny Bono. In addition, one of her biggest hits is actually a duet with Peter Cetera on the song “After All.”
