93-Year-Old Clint Eastwood is Working on His Last Movie Ever: Here’s What We Know
Clint Eastwood‘s impressive career may be coming to a close. The actor, director, and filmmaker has announced that he is currently working on his final film called Juror #2. The 93-year-old is working with Warner Bros. for yet another film and has proven that you don’t need to retire once you reach a certain age. The last film that Eastwood directed and starred in was 2021’s Cry Macho and it wasn’t as well received as he hoped. He’s certainly hoping that this last film will be one to remember.
Reportedly, Juror #2 follows “Family man Justin Kemp who, while serving as a juror in a high profile murder trial, finds himself struggling with a serious moral dilemma…one he could use to sway the jury verdict and potentially convict, or free the wrong killer,” according to IMDb. To further explain, he realizes that he is the one to kill a victim of reckless driving and must try to save the defendant without revealing that he is the one at fault. Nicholas Hoult is set to play Justin Kemp while Toni Collette will play the prosecutor. The film will also star Leslie Bibb, Kiefer Sutherland, Gabriel Basso, and Zoey Deutch.
Eastwood was seen out in Savannah, Georgia on the set of the upcoming film, expected to be released sometime toward the end of this year or next. An official release date has yet to be announced. Warner Bros. has also said in recent years that they will always release films in theaters first, so it is expected that Juror #2 will be exclusively seen in theaters before moving over to a streaming service.
During his long career, Eastwood has starred in over 50 films and directed over 40. Some of his top films include Unforgiven, Million Dollar Baby, American Sniper, Gran Torino, and The Mule. Hopefully, Juror #2 will live up to the expectations of fans and become another beloved film in his resume. Are you excited to see the movie? Stay tuned for updates including a trailer when it is released.
