MeTV Is Headed Back to School With ‘Leave It To Beaver’ Marathon
As kids gear up to head back to school, MeTV is heading back to the classroom with Beaver and friends in its special “Back to School With Beaver” marathon, featuring school-themed episodes of Leave It to Beaver. The marathon takes place on Sunday, August 16, beginning at 11am ET/PT.
Fans can enjoy the early days of Beaver’s school years with Miss Landers up til his middle school graduation and also includes when his brother Wally ran for class president. Leave it to Beaver originally premiered in 1957 and ran for six seasons until 1963 and starred Jerry Mathers, Tony Dow, Barbara Billingsley, Hugh Beaumont, along with many others.
Here is the full Leave It to Beaver MeTV marathon schedule:

11 am – “Beaver Gets Spelled”
Beaver’s teacher, Miss Canfield (, sends a note home with Beaver and the other kids convince him that it’s news that he’s getting kicked out of school. So Beaver and Wally take steps to hide the note from Ward and June.
11:30 am – “Part-Time Genius”
After taking an IQ test, Beaver scores the highest in his class and Mrs. Rayburn suggests that it would be best if Beaver went to a special school, where his abilities can be challenged. However, little does anyone know, everything is not as it seems.
12 pm – “Beaver Plays Hooky”
Larry (Robert ‘Rusty’ Stevens) and Beaver find themselves tardy for the third time this week and decide to skip altogether. However, they quickly find themselves being caught when they inadvertently walk on the set of a live TV show.
12:30 pm – Leave It to Beaver “Wally’s Test”
An upcoming test in history, Wally’s weakest subject, has Wally studying all weekend and has Larry and Eddie coming up with a plan that will give them good grades on the test.

1 pm – “The Last Day of School”
The last day of school has each one of Miss Landers’ students bringing her a gift. June orders some nice handkerchiefs for the gift and a slip for herself. Beaver mistakes the slip as the gift for Miss Landers and debates on whether or not to give her this very “personal” gift.
1:30 pm – “The School Picture”
Beaver’s class is having a group picture taken and while having it done, Gilbert (Stephen Talbot) goads Beaver into making a face with him when they snap the picture. However, when the picture is actually taken, Gilbert backs out and Beaver is the only one making a face.
2 pm – “Wally’s Election”
Eddie (Ken Osmond) nominates Wally for class president and Wally has no interest in the position, that is until Ward gives him some encouragement. Wally quickly gets wrapped up in the election and his friends see a change in him, a change that prompts them to vote against him.
2:30 pm – “Beaver English Test”
Beaver has been having trouble in English and Ward persuades Wally to tutor him. Wally has Beaver look over an old exam that he once took and to Beaver’s surprise, the next day, his teacher gives him the exact same test, which he of course he aces. However, Beaver is left with a guilty conscience.
3 pm – “The Book Report”
Beaver has been assigned to write a book report on The Three Musketeers. However, he’s waited right down to the wire to get reading and quickly realizes that he’ll never get finished. So, he decides to watch the movie that’s going to be on TV and write his book report based on the movie.
3:30 pm – “Beaver’s Graduation
It’s come down to the final week before junior high school graduation and Beaver is having a ball and even skips a class with Gilbert. However, Beaver becomes convinced he won’t graduate after Gilbert and him take a peek at the diplomas on Mrs. Rayburn’s desk and find Beaver’s diploma to be missing.
