Elvis Presley’s Movie Love Interests Who Are Still With Us
Elvis Presley starred in 31 feature films between Love Me Tender in 1956 and Change of Habit in 1969. Most gave the King at least one beautiful co-star to sing to, flirt with, or fall for, and some of those women became major stars, while others left Hollywood and began completely different lives. Loving You star Dolores Hart even walked away from acting to become a Benedictine nun.
Not every actress below was the woman Elvis’ character ended up with. A few played a flirtation, a romantic rival, or a woman sent to distract him. With the recent deaths of Joan Blackman, who worked with Elvis in two films, Blue Hawaii and Kid Galahad, and the lovely Shelley Fabares, who starred in three Elvis films, the most of any ladies on this list, in Girl Happy, Spinout and Clambake, it made us wonder which of his co-stars are still alive as of August 2026.
Debra Paget, Love Me Tender (1956)

Elvis’ first movie placed him in the middle of a love triangle. Debra Paget played Cathy Reno, who marries Elvis’ Clint after his older brother Vance is reported dead during the Civil War. When Vance returns home, Cathy must face the fact that she still loves him. Paget had another major release that year as Lilia in The Ten Commandments. She left acting in the mid-1960s after a career that also included Broken Arrow, Prince Valiant and The Haunted Palace. She is now 92 years old.
Dolores Hart, Loving You (1957) and King Creole (1958)

Dolores Hart appeared opposite Elvis twice, first as singer Deke Rivers’ love interest Susan Jessup in Loving You and then as five-and-dime clerk Nellie in King Creole. Hart left acting in 1963 and entered the Abbey of Regina Laudis in Bethlehem, Connecticut. She took her final vows in 1970 and is now known as Mother Dolores Hart. Her story was told in the Oscar-nominated documentary short God Is the Bigger Elvis. She is now 87 years old.
Pamela Austin, Blue Hawaii (1961) and Kissin’ Cousins (1964)

Pamela Austin made her film debut in Blue Hawaii as high school student Selena “Sandy” Emerson, using the screen name Pamela Kirk. She returned for a larger role in Kissin’ Cousins as Selena Tatum, one of the mountain girls who takes an interest in Elvis’ dark-haired Air Force officer Josh Morgan. Austin later became familiar to television viewers as the “Dodge Rebellion Girl” in a popular series of car commercials. She also starred in The Perils of Pauline and appeared on Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In. She is now 84 years old.
Anne Helm, Follow That Dream (1962)

Anne Helm played Holly Jones, who travels to Florida with Elvis’ good-natured Toby Kwimper and the rest of their unusual family in Follow That Dream. Holly clearly hopes Toby will someday notice that she sees him as more than a brother, even if he is slow to take the hint. Helm worked steadily on television after the film, with appearances on Perry Mason, The Big Valley, Gunsmoke, Bonanza and General Hospital. After retiring from acting, she wrote children’s books under the name Annie Helm. She is now 87 years old.
Ursula Andress, Fun in Acapulco (1963)

Ursula Andress was fresh from her star-making role as Honey Ryder in the first James Bond movie, Dr. No, when she played Marguerita Dauphin in Fun in Acapulco. Marguerita is a hotel social director who falls for Elvis’ troubled former trapeze artist, Mike Windgren, while helping him confront his fear of heights. The Swiss actress later appeared in the Bond spoof Casino Royale and played Aphrodite in Clash of the Titans. She eventually retired from acting. She is now 90 years old.
Cynthia Pepper, Kissin’ Cousins (1964)

Elvis played two roles in Kissin’ Cousins, and Cynthia Pepper’s Midge Riley was paired with the blond, mountain-dwelling Jodie Tatum. Midge is an Army private assigned to the group sent to persuade the Tatum family to lease part of its land for a missile site. Pepper was already known for starring in the 1961-62 sitcom Margie and for playing Jean Pearson on My Three Sons. She still shares her Elvis memories with fans and was announced as a VIP guest at the 2026 Missouri Cherry Blossom Festival. She is now 85 years old.
Ann-Margret, Viva Las Vegas (1964)

Few Elvis pairings are remembered as fondly as Elvis and Ann-Margret in Viva Las Vegas. She played swimming instructor Rusty Martin, who more than matched race-car driver Lucky Jackson in the singing and dancing departments. Ann-Margret had already broken through in Bye Bye Birdie and went on to earn Oscar nominations for Carnal Knowledge and Tommy. The Emmy and Golden Globe winner remains a beloved Hollywood legend and received a special USO honor in 2026 for her years of entertaining American service members. She is now 85 years old.
Joan Freeman, Roustabout (1964)

Joan Freeman played Cathy Lean, the carnival worker who falls for Elvis’ motorcycle-riding singer Charlie Rogers in Roustabout. Cathy’s protective father is not happy about the romance, especially after Charlie joins their struggling carnival. Freeman began acting as a child and later appeared in Panic in Year Zero!, The Three Stooges Go Around the World in a Daze and Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter. Her final acting credit was a 1994 episode of Renegade. She is now 84 years old.
Sue Ane Langdon, Roustabout (1964) and Frankie and Johnny (1966)

Sue Ane Langdon appeared in two Elvis movies, although neither role was his character’s main love interest. In Roustabout, she played fortune-teller Madame Mijanou. She returned in Frankie and Johnny as Mitzi, a riverboat singer caught up in the movie’s romantic mix-ups. Langdon later won a Golden Globe for playing Lillian Nuvo on the sitcom Arnie. Her credits also include The Andy Griffith Show, The Rounders, A Guide for the Married Man and The Cheyenne Social Club. She is now 90 years old.
Nancy Kovack, Frankie and Johnny (1966)

Nancy Kovack played Nellie Bly, the glamorous redhead whom superstitious riverboat gambler Johnny believes brings him good luck. His interest in Nellie does not sit well with his longtime sweetheart and performing partner Frankie, played by Donna Douglas. Kovack is also remembered as Medea in Jason and the Argonauts and for appearances on Bewitched, Batman, I Dream of Jeannie, and Star Trek. Her acting work slowed after she married conductor Zubin Mehta in 1969, and she left the business in the 1970s. She is now 91 years old.
Pat Priest, Easy Come, Easy Go (1967)

Pat Priest‘s Dina Bishop was not the woman Elvis’ Ted Jackson chose in Easy Come, Easy Go. She was the girlfriend of his treasure-hunting rival Gil Carey, who used Dina to distract Ted and interfere with his search for a sunken fortune. Priest was best known as the second actress to play Marilyn Munster on The Munsters. She eventually retired from acting, although she returned to voice an airline announcer in Rob Zombie’s 2022 movie version of The Munsters. She is now 89 years old.
Annette Day, Double Trouble (1967)

Annette Day was 18 when she was discovered while working in her mother’s antique shop on London’s Portobello Road. She was soon cast as Jill Conway, a teenage British heiress infatuated with Elvis’ touring singer Guy Lambert in Double Trouble. The movie sent Jill and Guy into a comic adventure involving jewel thieves and an attempted murder. It was Day’s first and only feature film. She did not pursue a Hollywood career after it. She is now 78 years old.
Nancy Sinatra, Speedway (1968)

Nancy Sinatra played IRS agent Susan Jacks, who arrives to straighten out the enormous tax debt owed by Elvis’ race-car driver Steve Grayson in Speedway. Their professional tension soon gives way to romance. Sinatra also sang “Your Groovy Self” and joined Elvis for “There Ain’t Nothing Like a Song” on the soundtrack. Speedway was her final feature-film role, but her recording career had already produced hits including “These Boots Are Made for Walkin'” and the James Bond theme “You Only Live Twice.” She is now 86 years old.
Marlyn Mason, The Trouble with Girls (1969)

Marlyn Mason played Charlene, the “Story Lady” and union organizer, who clashes with and flirts with Elvis’ traveling Chautauqua manager, Walter Hale, in The Trouble with Girls. The two also performed the duet “Signs of the Zodiac.” Mason went on to star with James Franciscus on the detective drama Longstreet and continued working as an actress, producer and screenwriter. Her recent credits include the 2024 horror film Bad Fish and the 2025 film Bent. She is now 86 years old.
