Who Is Still Alive From the Original ‘Airwolf’ Cast?
Airwolf premiered on CBS in 1984 and quickly became one of the decade’s most memorable action shows. The original CBS run ended in 1986, though the series later continued on USA Network in 1987 with a mostly new cast, including Barry Van Dyke and Michele Scarabelli.
The CBS-era cast centered on Stringfellow Hawke (Jan-Michael Vincent), Dominic Santini (Ernest Borgnine), Michael Coldsmith-Briggs III, also known as Archangel (Alex Cord), Marella (Deborah Pratt), and Caitlin O’Shannessy (Jean Bruce Scott). Here’s who is still alive from that original Airwolf lineup.

Jean Bruce Scott joined Airwolf in Season 2 as Caitlin O’Shannessy, a former Texas Highway Patrol helicopter pilot who became part of Santini Air. Her character gave the show another strong pilot alongside Stringfellow Hawke and Dominic Santini. After Airwolf, Scott appeared in shows including Newhart, Matlock, MacGyver, Beverly Hills, 90210 and Port Charles. She later became closely involved in theater work and co-founded Native Voices at the Autry with Randy Reinholz, helping develop and produce new plays by Native American, Alaska Native and First Nations playwrights. You can follow her on Facebook, where she is pretty active.

Deborah Pratt appeared in the first two seasons of Airwolf as Marella, the aide to Michael Coldsmith-Briggs III, also known as Archangel (Alex Cord). Her character was part of the mysterious government side of the series, which often pushed Stringfellow Hawke and Dominic Santini into dangerous missions. Pratt went on to become a major creative force behind Quantum Leap. She worked as a writer, producer, and executive producer on the original series and also provided the voice of Ziggy. More recently, she returned as an executive producer on the NBC revival of Quantum Leap.
